The TX-44 Tournament Planer Board has all the features of the TX-44 Super, plus a Lock-Jaw Clip, an EZ Store Clip Mount and a Stainless Steel Retaining Pin.
The TX-44 Super Planer is designed for using drop weights, heavy, hard pulling lures, or even with Dipsy Divers, Jet Divers, Slide Divers, Dive Bombs and Torpedo Divers. This is just what the salmon, striper, muskie, northern and walleye fishermen have been asking for. The TX-44 can handle lead core, copper or wire lines along with one-pound of weight, but it can also be used with mono. The size of the TX-44 makes it harder for fish to pull the board under, yet easy to retrieve. The TX-44 is right at home at higher trolling speeds.

Planer boards
Pull great even when using a 10 oz weight, 300 copper/steel, and long lead core. Like the tourney set up. Braids can destroy the plastic pegs.

Great Boards, but.....
For some reason 10 to 15 minutes after setting these out the E-Z store comes out of the clip and the board becomes useless. I have to bring it back in with the lock jaw clip still pinched to the line and the board behind it at my terminal connection between my backing and my copper. Have tried tightening the clip for the E-Z store clip ,but that hasn't seemed to do any good. Only option I see left is to screw it to the board as with the original setup. I converted my walleye boards to this E-Z store system with great results, thats why I bought these because they came with the TOURNAMENT setup. Not real happy I have to mount the arm andthe lock jaw clip permanent to the boards.....
