Skipping jigs is a popular fishing technique on the tournament trail allowing you to present your lure to fish holding under canopy cover, including docks and overhanging trees. The Title SHot "Skip" Jig head incorporates a flattened bottom with the combination of a forward eyelet and a hook which acts as a keel, forcing the jig to plane across the water on its flat surface. The Title SHot Skip Jig's stand-up head is virtually weedless and will finagle its way through a variety of cover and/or structure when rigged with your favorite plastic lure. The heart of the Title SHot Skip Jig is the patented collapsible Retainer/Guard System. When pressure is applied to the retainer, it collapses allowing the jig's Mustad 3/0 Ultra Point Wide Gap Hook to come into play for higher hook-up ratios. Top rigged soft plastic lures stay put, but release on the hook-set without destroying them.
