HOW THE SNAPPER WORKS - When a fish bites your bait and starts to swim away, the bobber on the line rises until the line is tight, causing the steel trigger shaft to trip. The fishing rod will then slide off of the trip post and set the hook. The fishing rod and the drag on the reel do the work until you can grab the rod and start reeling the fish up!
