Deps Sakamata Shad is designed as a soft stick jerkbait with jumping dart action imitating escaping baitfish.  This action is realized by the keels on both sides of the body.  Sakamata Shad works great not only under surface with no-sinker rig, but also in the bottom range by using the heaving weight with Carolina rig.  This bait has been well known as one of the champion baits in Lake Biwa since this movement with bulky body easily triggers bites of big bass.
