Helium HSP Platform by Hawk

I ordered the Hawk Helium HSP to take on a special late season doe hunt in January in Central NY. The platform was just as I expected, it locked on solid, was plenty big enough for a secure foothold and since it was attached to a helium climbing stick it was sturdy on the tree. It packed easily and is very light weight. There a couple reasons that I didn't give it 5 Stars: 1. The platform doesn't have much of an anti slip coating- which may not be an issue where you hunt but for me in New York it matters. So I had to put some Gator Grip tape on it (Highly recommend it) 2. The mounting hardware is underwhelming-the two spring pin style retention pins don't inspire confidence and the key chain loops were noisy, so I opted to use lag bots and nuts to install the platform permanently to a stick. I could have used it as it came out of the box and would not have had an issue but I like to tinker. Great bow hunting tool!
